Do I need to go to rehab?

This is a question many facing drug addiction and alcoholism try to figure out on their own.  But every individual is different and may need to be assessed with a treatment counselor to assess their current situation and whether they need to be in a residential rehab setting.
Scientific research since the mid–1970s shows that treatment can help patients addicted to drugs and alcohol to stop using and drinking to avoid relapse, and successfully recover their lives. Based research, key principles have emerged that form the basis of effective treatment programs:

•    Addiction is a complex but treatable disease that affects brain function and behavior.

•    No single treatment is appropriate for everyone.

•    Treatment needs to be readily available.

•    Effective treatment attends to multiple needs of the individual, not just his or her drug abuse.

•    Remaining in treatment for an adequate period of time is critical.

•    Counseling—individual and/or group—and other behavioral therapies are the most commonly used forms of drug abuse treatment.

•    Medications are an important element of treatment for many patients, especially when combined with counseling and other behavioral therapies.

•    An individual’s treatment and services plan must be assessed continually and modified as necessary to ensure that it meets his or her changing needs.

•    Many drug–addicted individuals also have other mental disorders.

•    Medically assisted detoxification is only the first stage of addiction treatment and by itself does little to change long–term drug abuse.

•    Treatment does not need to be voluntary to be effective.

•    Drug use during treatment must be monitored continuously, as lapses during treatment do occur.

Residential treatment programs can also be very effective, especially for those with more severe problems. For example, residential facilities are highly structured programs in which patients remain at a residence, typically for 30 days to 12 months. Treatment centers differ from other treatment approaches principally in their use of the community—treatment staff and those in recovery—as a key agent of change to influence patient attitudes, perceptions, and behaviors associated with drug use. The focus of rehab is on the re-socialization of the patient to a drug-free, crime–free lifestyle.  Please call today to discuss your needs for treatment.

Luxury Treatment Center-the Road to Recovery

Here’s the thing about rehab, and treatment centers: substance matters. Programs cannot succeed if they aren’t delivered in environments conducive to healing. That might sound obvious, but too many rehab centers seem to miss the mark. The treatment center that’s “right” for you is the one that cares for you on every level, from the physical to the psychological and back again. Luxury treatment centers are better than regular drug rehabs for the simple reason that rehabilitation is difficult, and rehab clients need all the support they can get on the road to recovery. With so much at stake, anything less just would not be worth your investment.

However hopeless you think you might be, Recovery Hubs exclusive private treatment centers can help you progress your way back to sobriety. It won’t be easy, of course…rehab’s never easy. But it’s worth it. The time you spend in a treatment center will change your life, if you can find the strength and courage to participate. Again, there’s too much at stake for any other course of action. For your own sake, for the sake of the people who care about you…let today be the day you finally make the right decision.

Luxury Drug Rehab Facilities

Some people will tell you that luxury drug rehabs are a basically a month of spa treatments.  This however is not true regarding the facilities that Recovery Hub works with.  Yes they are comfortable and highly individualized with programs to support clients in recovery. But no one can get better for you. No one can heal you against your will. Even the best luxury drug rehab facilities are powerless to help clients who won’t help themselves. The bottom line? If you want drug rehab to work for you, you’re going to have to work.  And as simple as it sounds the work starts by picking up the phone.

The good news is that no effort you make will ever be more worthwhile. Your time in treatment will quite literally change your life. All you have to do is engage with your drug rehab program, and commit to winning the long-term fight against addiction. Will it be easy? No, not by a longshot. But then again the things most worth doing rarely are. Don’t wait another day to start finding that out on your own terms.
