How Recovery Hub Works

Exactly what will Recovery Hub do for you?

We know that finding the right addiction treatment for yourself or a loved one can seem like an insurmountable and confusing task. At Recovery Hub, we are here 24 hours a day to support and help you every step of the way. Know that your confidence and privacy are very important to us; we will take every measure to guard your privacy in this vulnerable time.

We will begin with a confidential assessment to determine if you or your loved one would benefit from residential treatment. We will explain options for treatment at the facilities that we feel would offer the most suitable treatment for you.

Whether you would like to find a facility equipped to handle a specific issue–such as a monitored medical drug detox or a dual diagnosis–or you are just looking for a safe, serene and comfortable place to begin your recovery process, Recovery Hub will help. After you choose your treatment center, we will be your advocates all the way to the door:

  • We will arrange payment options.
  • We will inform the facility of all of your needs and preferences.
  • We will keep in touch with you until you begin your treatment, answering any questions and addressing any concerns you may have.
  • We will help schedule your admittance, even arranging flights and picking you up from the airport to drive you to the facility if you desire.

What will happen when I enter rehab?

Although each treatment program is different, the following are generally to be expected in drug and alcohol treatment:

  • An initial psychosocial evaluation (administered by a therapist or a psychiatrist that evaluates the client’s history)
  • A planned medical detoxification administered by a medical doctor
  • Group sessions to learn about addiction, alcoholism and associated issues and how to change behaviors
  • Obtaining and maintaining complete abstinence from mood and mind altering substances
  • Individual therapy sessions
  • Family therapy or a family program
  • Group therapy
  • Some treatment centers offer a gym, massage, yoga, acupuncture, sober outings, art therapy, equine therapy, career counseling, and 12-Step meetings

How is addiction treatment paid for?

It is our experience that many private health insurance plans do provide for treatment for substance abuse. In most cases, an 800 number will be located on the reverse side of your card, which you can call to receive benefit information. Please keep in mind that, although you will be provided with benefit information, you may not be able to access all of those benefits. Benefits may be dependent upon the acuity of the patient, his or her progress while in treatment, and the relationship the treatment center has with the particular carrier. After you speak with the insurance carrier, we will work with you to have the treatment center verify the benefits, and they will be able to tell you exactly what the personal responsibility is.

For those people without insurance or private funds, there are facilities funded by state and federal agencies. The fees for these facilities generally follow a sliding scale. A very good resource to find these types of treatment centers is www.samsha.gov.
